Can I take the FAA 107 test if I don’t know how to fly a drone yet?
Yes, the good news is that the test (as of now) does not have a flight proficiency test portion, so you can take the exam even if you don't know how to fly a drone yet.
How much should I study prior to taking the test
Most of our students study 2-3 hours a day for 3-5 days prior to taking their test – for a total of 9-15 hours of total study time.
Do you provide the 107 license for me?
Unfortunately no, The FAA test can only be given by an FAA Testing center. Like your drivers license only the State DMV is the one who can provide that to you. The FAA 107 license can only be given by the FAA and the test can only be taken at an FAA testing facility.
Do you offer in person training in my city?
Yes, we have over 100 licensed & certified 107 and flight instructors who do a total immersion 8 hour training to get you all set for your test. In addition you also get lifetime access to this FAA 107 video course. You can also bundle an immersion hands on flight training as well.
Do you offer the FAA test online?
Unfortunately no, at this time there is no option for taking the test online. You have to go to an FAA testing center, which we’ll explain exactly how to locate them and schedule your test.
Do I have to have to take the test to fly for money?
Yes, If you fly commercially and directly or indirectly profit from flying you MUST have an FAA 107 license. If you don’t you can be fined and even potentially jail time (although we have yet to see anyone arrested only fined).
